Eastlake High School

Students from consortium area high schools, who have not earned a high school diploma.

Home-schooled and private school students who are registered with their local WANIC Consortium school district who have not earned a high school diploma. If you live in the Eastlake area, you must register with Eastlake before your WANIC application can be processed.

Out-of-consortium high school students may be eligible on a space available basis with a signed shared student agreement. Contact the WANIC office for more information.

Academic Year, 3 Credit Skill Center classes follow the school calendar of the receiving school, and are generally held M-F for 2.5 hours per day. Non-Skill Center CTE Classes have fewer credits/hours.

WANIC's summer semester typically runs 14 days, 8 am-3 pm.

Students taking classes through WANIC can usually earn college credit through Pacific NW College Credit. This Dual Credit program is also called "CTE Dual Credit."

Most articulation agreements are through Bellevue College and Lake Washington Institute of Technology.

Pacific NW College Credit allows students to earn college credit if they maintain a B or better over the course of 2 semesters and pay a $50 fee.

Instructors distribute information about Pacific NW College Credit registration once class is underway. Interested students must register and pay for the credit by June 15th.

WANIC welcomes students on IEPs and 504s.

WANIC is a preparatory career and technical education school designed to prepare students for employment and post-secondary training and is not designed, by definition, to serve as an exploratory program.

IEPs and 504's are shared with WANIC instructors.Your Eastlake IEP provider remains an important contact.

All Skill Center students must be able to demonstrate safe working behaviors and habits as evidenced by passing program related safety assessments and instructor observations.

• Academic WANIC year registration for the 2023-24 school year will open on January 24, 2023
• Summer WANIC registration typically opens after Spring Break.
• When the application portal opens, applications can be accessed on WANIC's website

• WANIC Summer Semester is an option for all Eastlake students, including incoming freshman. Summer classes are generally 6.5 hours per day for 14 days, with students earning 0.5 high school (usually occupational) credits. Registration typically opens in mid-April.
