Please review this information regarding being approved for Out of District. If you are a current EHS student, you are welcome to contact your counselor to discuss taking a course out of district. If you are an incoming EHS student and currently in 8th grade, please review the class of 2027 information included as well.
Reasons Out of District Course can be approved:
- Credit recovery
- Course advancement
- Course does not fit or conflicts with Eastlake schedule
Students must apply for approval before starting a course. Review information within grade level section and complete Microsoft form.
If you are wanting to take Washington State History online out of district, students will want to take a course similar to Pacific Northwest History, or something close to that name.
What is “Grade Improvement”?: If you retake a course for grade improvement, it does not remove the previous attempt at a course. It will “zero out” the lower grade and the new grade will be calculated into the GPA.
