Get ready for an informative and exciting College Night, hosted by Eastlake HS, T-STEM, and Lake Washington HS. This is your chance to explore a wide range of college options and gain valuable insights into the college admissions process.

What Private Colleges Look for in a Successful Applicant**

This session will cover how private college admission offices review each section of the college application and what they look for in a successful applicant. It will share insights into what they want to see on transcripts and how they use SAT/ACT test scores.

You'll learn helpful tidbits for writing the college essay, what to include in your extracurricular activities, and who should write your recommendations, etc. We'll also discuss the importance of demonstrated interest throughout the application process.

Applying to International Colleges**

Discover the extraordinary post-secondary opportunities that await you in Canada and Ireland. We will also compare the similarities and differences between studying in Canada, Ireland and the U.S.

This session is geared toward families of 1st generation college-going students and students whose parents have attended college outside the US and are new to the US College System.
