If you need technology support please contact
LWSD Family Technology Access (FTA) Office
Students/Parents must contact FAMILY TECHNOLOGY ACCESS (FTA) to create a service ticket before coming to the school to solve technology problems (wifi internet box, stylus pen, working laptop).
Email email@example.com or call 425-936-1322 Mon-Fri 7:00am - 7:00pm and include the following information to create the service ticket:
- School Name
- Student first name and Last Name
- Technology Need (or the problem?)
Once the FTA has this information and has created a ticket, the Eastlake on site tech representative will prepare a device and a library staff member will call you or email you with details about when and how to pick it up.
If students have an immediate need (i.e. malfunctioning laptop) that impedes their ability to participate in remote instruction, please contact Lori Rowe (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Eastlake will either arrange an additional opportunity to pick up the needed materials or arrange a delivery for students who cannot get to Eastlake.
Missing Assignments in Skyward and Teams
Microsoft Teams is our district's platform for teachers to deliver instruction and post assignments. Skyward is the system for various types of student information including how teachers submit and record grades. Teams allows a student to click submit and thus inform the teacher they’ve turned in the assignment, but in some cases the student may have not actually submitted the assignment and only clicked the submission button. Skyward is where teachers enter scores and report those results to students and parents, so if Skyward still shows the assignment is missing, please trust Skyward.
If Skyward shows the assignment is missing and your student insists they’ve turned in the assignment to the teacher, please have your student confirm the syncing status of their One Drive, have them confirm the syncing status of their One Note, and submit a help desk ticket through email@example.com if the problem is not easily identifiable through syncing status. There have been instances where the student thought they submitted an assignment but the teacher never received it because the student’s One Drive account wasn’t syncing.
If you have tech questions or would like additional clarification about missing assignments, Teams, or Skyward, please contact Dean of Students, Devin Barrett.
