Juniors - Class of 2026

Junior meetings are for all students and we like for all students to be a part of the process. All information is posted on the website to view including the presentations and counselors will follow up with students as well.  

Visit Fafsa.gov for detailed information. It opens December 1st, 2024 for families to create an account. For any students ineligible for federal aid, go to WAFSA to see if you should be filling that out instead. Additional Financial Aid information can be found HERE. 

Counselors will make 2 attempts to call students down for their Junior Meeting. If the student is unable to attend at either time, is then the students’ responsibility to reach out and schedule a Junior Meeting with their counselor.

That depends on the school you are looking to transfer to. When you visit WUE Save On College Tuition | Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) HERE, you will be able to search schools of interest and see if your school of choice accepts transfer students.

Yes! In the fall, there are multiple opportunities for students to work on and receive feedback from teachers and counselors. As we near Fall 2024, the Counseling Center and College and Career Center will offer dates for students to access essay support during Wolf Time or in their English 12 classes.  

Both opportunities benefit students, so one is not necessarily better than the other. Holding a job shows a lot of responsibility and teaches students skills they do not necessarily learn in the classroom. It can also teach them what they like and do not like. Internships/volunteering are also excellent ways to gain skills and build your resume. If a student wants to be a veterinarian and had the opportunity to volunteer in a vets office, what a great opportunity to jump on! Finding internships/volunteer work for your specific area of interest is highly beneficial for students. You can start your search HERE.

Junior meetings are held with the student and counselor. If parents have more questions after their students’ meeting they can reach out to the counselor.
